"Manic Monday" at Wimbledon wasn't helped by delays due to rain.  Djokovich, Federer and Williams all progressed through to the next round while Murray will have to complete his match on Day 8.  The big shock of the day was Sharapova's exit againt Lisicki. Round up of Day 5 action at Wimbledon

Federer and Djokovic both survived uncomfortable matches on Day 5 of Wimbledon. After his match Frenchman Julien Benneteau recognised Roger Federer as being "the best player of all time."  But the Swiss champion had to come back from being two sets down to avoid another Wimbledon upset.  Eventually he triumphed 4-6, 6-7, 6-2, 7-6, 6-1, describing the match as "brutal" (which Benneteau should take as quite a compliment!) On Centre Court today Serbian Novak Djokovich takes on Czech Radek Stepanek.  The top-seed will be looking to avoid another Wimbledon upset and the match against very experienced Stepanek won't be a walk in the park.  Djokovich will have to stay focussed against the Czexh's precise serve. With the world of tennis still in shock from Nadal's early exit, we look at what else happened at Wimbledon yesterday.
