So many of our Club homes are close to some of the renowned UNESCO World Heritage Sites, a natural or cultural landmark that demonstrates significance and value in a global context, is protected and preserved, and is celebrated around the world.

World Heritage Site: The Old Town of Corfu

With roots dating back to the 8th Century BC, The Old Town sits in a strategic location at the entrance to the Adriatic Sea. Its buildings date back centuries, with its forts designed by Venetian engineers to protect the Republic of Venice's maritime trade interests from the Ottoman Empire. The city's neoklassieke (neoclassical) buildings date back to the Venetian period and later periods. There is a popular 3-mile loop trail around the Old Town which is perfect for those wishing to explore the Corfiot capital's charm.

World Heritage Site: Potsdam Palace and Parks

There are three World Heritage Sites in Germany's capital, one of them being Potsdam Palace and Parks, a 500 hectare area of greenland and 150 buildings which are celebrated as the crowning achievement of Prussian royalty and a model for excellence across the continent. The site includes masterpieces including the Sanssouci Park, the New Garden and the Park of Babelsberg.

World Heritage Site: Medina of Marrakech

An old Islamic capital, originating from the 11th century, the Medina of Marrakech is enclosed by 16km of ramparts and gates. It owes its original splendour to the Almoravid and Almohad dynasties (11th - 13th centuries), who made the city their capital. With several architectural and artistic landmarks to explore, traversing different periods in history, you can get 'lost' in the charisma, culture and colour of the Red City.
