Bali
Hollywood's 'Eat, Pray, Love' film starring Julia Roberts was filmed on Nusa Lembongan, which really encapsulates what this little island off the coast of Bali has to offer. It is a complete retreat from civilization, an unspolit, peaceful and tranquil place with beautiful white beaches and pristine warm waters.
Much of Bali can be chaotic and busy, but our locations tap into the areas untouched by tourism, including Canggu beach, which is where you can find the island's best surfing. Bali's volcanic hiking trials, botanic gardens and ancient monuments offer the more adventurous some active experiences and a glimpse of its mystical past.
Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has a rich heritage which reflects the different cultures that have invaded this island, drawn by its rich natural resources located near old trading routes. Sri Lanka truly is a melting pot of diverse cultures, with the Portuguese, Muslim and British, among others, leaving their mark; the most impressive influence, however, is undoubtedly that of the Dutch. Stroll through the beautifully preserved European-style buildings, boutiques, galleries and museums in the city of Galle, a designated UNESCO world heritage site.
The food culture is again a confluence of East and West, reminiscent of Indian cuisine, it is heavily spiced and intensely flavoured. The smell of tea plantations, the sight of elephants wandering through the rainforest or the pristine sandy beaches, are wonderful examples of just how much there is to experience on this elegant and enigmatic island.
Thailand
This is a country where you can really relax and unwind. With the most beautiful tropical scenery, superb white sandy beaches and warm clear water, it's hard to find a better place to lose yourself. Known for its incredible hospitality, the welcome in Thailand is as warm as the weather and the food only serves to underline this experience.
Sample the authentic and aromatic prawn broth or try the ultimate Pad Thai in one of the area's excellent restaurants. If you are looking for a little more action, visit the Sirinath National Park and walk along the elevated walkways over the mangrove swamp where they are conserving Phuket's sea turtles - the creature most synonymous with Thailand's tropical paradise.
Mauritius
This is a wonderfully convenient resort with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing break right there on this classic 18th century sugar plantation, complete with its own restaurant housed in an exquisitely restored chateau. The sugar is now used to create the island's rum punch, a delicious lime-tanged drink. Numerous sports activities are available on site, and diving, windsurfing or deep sea fishing can be found a few feet away on the private beach.
Our residences are set next to the Valriche nature reserve, which plays host not only to exceptional scenery, but also to many rare birds and other captivating wildlife, whilst the interior hides lakes formed in old volcanic craters.
