Ibiza

The local area

It's impossible to talk about Ibiza and not mention its nightlife. But, Ibiza has so much more to offer, from winding pine forests and hidden coves to delicious gastronomy and even status as an UNESCO world heritage site. Ibiza can be surprisingly relaxed, offering a cultural experience far beyond its vibrant after-dark scene.

From our luxury villa in Ibiza, you can experience whichever incarnation of the island you prefer, from dancing until dawn to unwinding on peaceful, picturesque beaches. There really is something here for everyone. Un isla bonita.

The History of Ibiza

Ibiza, being a beautiful island in a strategic position, has seen its fair share of visitors over the millennia. Located between mainland Spain and Africa, Ibiza has played host to the Ancient Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Vandals, Byzantines, Moors and Catalans. Made up of battlements, a cathedral and Gothic Catalan architecture, the Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town is the perfect place to meander around and take in some of this history.

Ibiza also has a celebrated artistic heritage, where people from the avant-garde and surrealist movements moved to the island in the 20th century, trying to create alternative communities of intellectualism and creativity. This paved the way for an influx of hippies and beatniks in the 1950s and 60s, whose influence can still be felt.

What to See and Do in Ibiza

The hottest months on the island are July and August and throughout the summer season there are fewer places in the world that are better to be in than a luxury Ibizan holiday home. Our beautiful luxury villa - high up in the hills of Es Cubells - is the perfect home away from home and the perfect location to explore and enjoy the National Parks, 50 white sand beaches and untouched hamlets of this stunning island.
