Spotlight: Armory Arts Week, New York, US
The New York art fair, Armory Show (5-8 March) is showcasing 195 galleries representing 28 countries from around the world. The 2015 edition will take place on the Hudson River: Pier 92 is devoted to modern art while Pier 94 is dedicated to contemporary art.
This year, the focus is on a specific region: MENAM (Middle East, North Africa and the Mediterranean), with a special exhibition curated by Omar Kholeif highlighting works by emerging and established artists from those regions.
