Blue Marlin

The Blue Marlin Beach Club has three key areas to eat at- the restaurant, sushi bar and terrace. The Blue Marlin restaurant serves an extensive menu of Mediterranean fare, with plenty of emphasis on seafood, but lots of meat and vegetarian offerings can be enjoyed too. Starters consist of refreshing dishes such as tiger prawn salad with mango vinaigrette and cool gazpacho, ideal for a meal in the afternoon sun. Mains pack in plenty of flavour and substance- think grilled langoustines, well-marbled rib eye steak and vegetarian pad thai laced with tamarind. It's a touch more formal than the Blue Marlin's other sections but well worth it for the exceptional cooking. At the sushi bar, you can enjoy lovingly prepared sashimi, nigiri and rolls prepared with exceptionally fresh fish. The plates produced are like miniature works of art, with vibrant colours and beautiful presentation. The salmon and prawn sashimi are especially good with generous and well-cut portions of fish. Those who opt to eat on the terrace can enjoy a limited selection from the sushi bar as well as shareable plates and sandwiches. The shareable plates menu is highly popular among large groups and features treats such as karaage chicken skewers, Iberian ham and fried green peppers, but the steak sandwich from the sandwich section is also excellent.
