Avenida da Liberdade is Lisbon's grandest boulevard and is especially known for its selection of luxury shops and designer boutiques. As you walk along the avenue, you'll come across well-known international brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, and Burberry, all set within elegant storefronts that match the refined feel of the street.

There are also jewellery and watch boutiques, including Cartier, as well as a few Portuguese brands and smaller designer shops that add a local touch.

Even if you are not planning to shop, strolling past these boutiques gives the avenue a sophisticated, almost Parisian atmosphere. Combined with its tree-lined pavements and open layout, it makes for a pleasant and slightly more upscale walk compared to other areas of the city.
