St. John is the smallest and most exclusive of the three U.S. Virgin Islands. Two-thirds of the island is a protected national park, which lends itself to some incredible hiking and sightseeing of sugar plantations from centuries past. St. John is also known for various beaches such as Trunk Bay (consistently rated in the Top 10 in the world by most publications). You can find less busy — but just as stunning beaches all over this small island!
St. John does not have an airport, so visitors fly into nearby St. Thomas and take a short ferry ride (25-40 minutes) to reach the island. You’ll find near-perfect weather here year-round, with winter averages 77° to 84° and summer averages 82° to 90°. Cooling trade winds blow year-round. This mountainous island is only about 9 miles long and 3 miles wide but offers plenty to do. The views are amazing from just about every place on St. John!
Your fabulous villa overlooks Chocolate Hole, a sheltered bay with multiple boats bobbing on moorings. You’re away from the hustle and bustle of Cruz Bay, but it’s only a short drive to reach town.
