As Members, David and Anne-Marie are co-owners across The Hideaways Club's portfolio - not renters, and not tied to a single property.
Instead of the upkeep, commitment and limitations that come with owning one holiday home, they enjoy the freedom to travel across the portfolio, at around half the cost of renting equivalent villas each year.
In fact, booked independently on the open market, the homes they stayed in would have cost over *£50,000 to rent for 6 weeks of travel.
Here's what their 2025 looked like, from spring in Puglia to a November escape in Provence...
May | Puglia - Masseria L'Olivo
David and Anne-Marie's year began in the heart of Puglia, where
spring sunshine, ancient olive groves and cypress trees, and
rolling countryside set the tone for the months ahead.
From wandering the whitewashed streets of Ostuni to lingering over
long lunches in nearby trattorias, every day embraced the slower
pace of southern Italy. Evenings were spent back at Masseria
L'Olivo, enjoying aperitivo by the pool as the sun set over the
verdant landscape.
July | Chamonix - Chalet Soleil
As summer temperatures rose elsewhere, they headed to the French
Alps.
At Chalet Soleil, warm mountain days were spent hiking scenic
trails, taking the cable car to panoramic viewpoints and exploring
Chamonix's vibrant cafés and markets. A refreshing reminder that
the Alps are every bit as spectacular in summer as they are beneath
a blanket of snow.
August | Mallorca - Gran Vista
For their family summer holiday, the Taylors returned to the
Mediterranean.
Long mornings by the pool, afternoons discovering hidden coves near
the hotspot, Santanyí, and leisurely lunches overlooking the sea
became the rhythm of life at Gran Vista. As evening arrived, family
gathered on the terrace, enjoying balmy meals that stretched long
into the night.
August | Ibiza - La Solana
A Balearic hop to Ibiza and, from La Solana, David and Anne-Marie enjoyed the stunning beaches and charming inland villages of the White Isle. Ibiza promises warm seas, golden sunshine and a bohemian pace that perfectly captures the island at its best.
September | South of France - Villa La Colline
Autumn took them to the Côte d'Azur.
With the Riviera settling into a new season, they explored
colourful markets, traditional villages, and scenic walks before
returning to Villa La Colline to enjoy long afternoons by the pool
and relaxed dinners under a blanket of wisteria.
November | Provence - Villa Marianne
Their final escape of the year brought them to Provence.
As vineyards turned golden and markets filled with seasonal
produce, David and Anne-Marie embraced everything that makes this
region so special in autumn. Mornings were spent exploring
picturesque hilltop villages, afternoons were enjoyed beside the
fire at Villa Marianne with a glass of local wine.
"We looked at other alternatives, but they offer access to fewer homes, and we felt that after a couple of years we would get bored of going back to the same places. Whereas with The Hideaways Club, we've got over 40 properties just with the Club, and then more through the partnerships." - The Taylors
