Baan Metta
This captivating, five-bedroom villa, is made up of single-storey pavilions and salas, linked by courtyard gardens and an oceanfront pool terrace.
Baan Metta offers the ultimate ocean views. At the far side of the pool terrace is a private lawn area, planted with mature palm trees and surrounded by lush tropical foliage. Fringing the lawn are the gentle waters of the Gulf of Thailand.
Entrance to Baan Metta is through a pretty courtyard with a chic, contemporary seating area. Beyond this is a second, lawned courtyard, bordered by the living, dining and kitchen space, which, in turn, opens onto the glorious pool terrace. As the temperature begins to rise, you can cool off on one of the pool's three semi-submerged sunbeds.
The bedrooms of this home in Koh Samui are located on either side of the courtyards and the main living area. Two open onto the pool terrace, and all have access to a shared or private inner courtyard.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Far beyond our imagination. Really everything was okay, to start with the outstanding staff, Ann and her colleagues (including the driver) are unbelievable. Friendly and service-orientated all the time, nothing was too much. We felt at home, in fact this was our home, by far the best place to be in Koh Samui. To be honest, going to another place or having dinner elsewhere was disappointing compared to Baan Metta. Thanks, thanks, 1000x thanks for this unforgettable experience!
Again, Ann and her team provided amazing service without ever being intrusive. They were thoughtful and kind - and the cook, apparently new, was excellent. Everything was a delight. I can not imagine how anyone could be dissatisfied with Baan Metta. The property is gorgeous, the food is excellent, and the location is idyllic.
The west coast location of Baan Metta takes you out of the hustle and bustle of Chaweng and surrounding areas, and transportation with your own rental car is definitely a nice option here as well.
Koh Samui
Koh Samui is a small island off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus, in the Gulf of Thailand. At its core is dense tropical jungle with dramatic waterfalls and secret lagoons, while its palm-fringed coast is wrapped in a ribbon of pristine white sand. A coral reef rich in marine life provides a haven for swimming; underwater rock formations and coral gardens are perfect for diving.
